By sea there is a daily connection with Piraeus (the main port of Greece) and several islands in the Dodecanese like Kalymnos, Nisyros, Patmos, Leros and Rhodes. There are also the hydrofoils to Rhodes, Patmos, Leros, and Samos. Finally there are several daily organised cruises to nearby islands.

By plane there are daily flights to Athens and Rhodes and several charter flights to many cities in Europe.
